The other part of this that everyone seems to be ignoring is that a strict gatherer needs those better stone tools in order to keep up with the exp gain of someone who is looting, and remember that pois are much more spread out at the beginning and most quests will take the looter outside of exp sharing range. Which puts them in direct competition with the lumberjack, the miner and the builder in that first 7 days, and since you can craft them in your inventory up until iron.why wouldn't you? Sure, eventually the mistake will become obvious, or maybe not because by that time the looter is already flush with dukes and can just get what they need from the trader. Maybe, but did you notice that none of those things are going to happen during the first 7 days? I mean, where did that overfilled box of food come from in your scenario? It takes seconds to queue anything on any workstation and then you can just walk away.Īt the beginning of this conversation I used tool crafting as an example specifically because the looters do have a self interest in wanting better tools in order to breach pois quicker. Maybe then the looter has learned his lesson. Is there a ETA how many hours till release roughly? like 8 hours time or something?Įdited June 12 by Bleepin (see edit history) i DONT want to bother anyone, but so hanging out for it and its already monday afternoon here "cry". so when TFP say afternoon onthe 12th, is that my time (:-p) or what time. So im in Australia and its monday afternoon here. Trouble is early game is stamina trying to carry everythiung back. I get double loot, it takes longer but its instant zombies that have been generated for you, right in front of you. Then go and accept the quest and do it again. Usually need to puit a chest outside on the road to put loot into. I go to the quest POI, do it first before selecting the quest. Again to go and drive around the beautiful post-apocalyptic landscape. Later when i find wrenches and need more electrical parts and such, i start making runs for the one thing. Sometimes i do strip some buildings bare if i need large number of cloth, pipes and such but it's quite rare. That way when i'm heading home, i can just grab the best stuff i found from the location and easier to grab what's left the next time i'm close-by. If the loot-run happens in a far away town/village, i put a stash box in visible place and dump everyhing in it. Generally, i loot everything from the boxes i can carry but don't disassemble anything. Here’s Skream’s ultimate guide to surviving the festival.Different playstyles, i'm much too of a scouting/adventuring-type to do this. He can’t remember much, but what does come to his mind during our conversation, is spoken of with such fondness that you can’t help but get excited: whether you’re taking to Somerset’s discombobulating grasslands or experiencing the festival at home under a blanket.Ĭharge your vapes, get the flags ready, crack open a cider and set your body to skank: Glastonbury is just around the corner. It’s Skream’s happy place, and as he joyously explains, “It’s the best festival on the planet”. Don’t be mistaken though, he’ll be “causing it” all weekend, playing seven sets across multiple stages, melting into a puddle of matter to Arctic Monkeys and crying to “Crocodile Rock” by Elton John. When he picks up the phone, it’s 10:30 AM Florida time, but he’s ready and rearing to talk all things Glasto. Since having kids and hitting the age of 37, Skream’s lifestyle has toned down somewhat. In fact, it was one of the few festivals he “wasn’t banned from before the age of 25”, the dubstep legend tells me from Miami, where he’s currently embarking on a North American tour. One of Britain’s best-loved selectors, real name, Oliver Jones, has been causing a ruckus on Worthy Farm for well over a decade. For those lucky enough to grab a ticket, whether you’re a Glasto-virgin or a seasoned attendee, you never know what the festival has in-store.įew artists know Glastonbury as well as Skream. Only five sleeps to go until one of the biggest parties in the world gets underway, with thousands ready to embark on their musical pilgrimage to a picturesque corner of Somerset.
